Whether you're shipping gifts to the family, vacation memorabilia, overnight business letters, or the kids (belongings) off to college, we'll take the stress out of your shipments.
Proper Packing is the key to a sucessful shipment. Don't skimp here, get the right protection. If you'd like, we'll pack for you. We have the knowledge and supplies to get your package to its destination - safe, sound and in one piece. This could be as simple as an envelope or more sophisticated (such as a double boxed-double bubble wrapped high value family heirloom) or, more likely, somewhere in between. If you want to pack it yourself, that's fine. Just remember the "don't skimp" rule. Remember, packages are stacked on top of each other during transportation.
Tip: When taping a box, use the "H" tape method. Tape along the edges and seams. When done properly, the tape has an "H" shape to it.
Shipments are then checked for the right balance of transit time, insurance, price and any additional requirements you request. Tracking is no problem and delivery dates are well known in advance with most carriers.
Tip: Have the full address ready, including names, address (including any suites) zip code and phone numbers.
Want insurance? We offer insurnace coverage on most shipping items. Some shipments automaticly have $100.00 coverage. The actual coverage amount is up to you. But if there is damage or loss, you must be able to prove the items value with either a receipt or an appraisal of it's value. In most cases a claim will NOT be paid without proof of value.
What can't be shipped? A partial list of "non shippable" items include, but not limited to: firearms, alcohol, some batteries, hazardous materials, money (cash), tobacco products, wet or frozen articles, fruits, perishable foods, articles of extraodinary value, and other items. If you're not sure, please ask.
